Ontario Treaty Map: This map covers all of Ontario and includes information such as towns, cities, water systems, highways, railways, FN communities, Treaty Boundaries and the Arctic Watershed. This map is at a 1 : 2 000 000 scale.

Arctic Headwater Canoe Map: This map includes over 20 different canoe routes of the Arctic Headwaters of northern Ontario. The map side shows put in and take out points, water fall locations, highways, railways, route names, communities and watershed boundaries. The back side of the map gives a full description of each route including: difficulty, duration, fish species etc. It also includes local information that you would want to know about before going on one of these routes.

Lake Map Series: Kamaniskeg Lake, Sideburned Lake, Chapleau River, Highbrush Lake, Missinaibi Lake, Wawa Lake, Kenogamissi Lake, Ivanhoe Lake, Wakami Lake, Como Lake, Loon (Borden) Lake and Nagasin Lake. All these maps show the lake depth, shore boundaries, and most include rock and shoal locations. Most of them also shows various statistics about the lake including total length of shorelines and islands, lake volumes, etc.

Allocation Tool
- a spatial selection and editing package for allocating future harvest operations

FMP Table Generator
- a VB application which reads landbase and harvest shapefiles, and SFMM text files to complete 13 FMP tables, 3 AWS tables and stand lists
- application populates Excel spreadsheets

Image Rectification Tool
- ArcView application allowing user to easily add link points to image and base data
- Avenue scripts create AML’s and call ARC/INFO’s gridwarp command to rectify image

Forest Operations System
- database application utilizing VB and Access
- data input and compilation to manage harvest and haul information, process employee and contractor pay, calculate machine availability and productivity, and generate wood flow reporting

Woodlands Information System
- FoxPro application to manage Provincial wood flow data
- roundwood and residual flow to and from manufacturing facilities

ArcVIEW Extensions

The EnhanceVu extension has several productive tools to make using ArcView's Views much easier and much more robust. Includes a Mini-Map Creator, Multi-View Panning and an AutoLoader.

The ProjectVU adds several functions to help the user get a feel for his or her project. It includes a utility to give an overview of the entire project in both html and text format. It also includes a special print function that creates plotfiles automatically when you print.

All records that intersect the current polygon are checked to see if their fields (based upon your field selection) match those of the current polygon. If the fields match, the shapes are merged together. This happens for all records. The output file is chosen by you and the new shapefile is saved. The output will have a field for each polygon

The EditTool Extension has three powerful tools that help you interface with your data. Identify Tool allows you to identify features while showing only selected fields. Save last selection allows you to save and load selections for active themes. Export lets you export selected records and fields.

A set of tools to calculate bearings and lengths of line segments. A very valuable tool when preparing to go into the field.
